The role includes monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, assisting with treatments and assessments, responding to healthcare needs, maintaining accurate clinical records, and communicating with registered nurses, providers, and other members of the care team.

Job Details:

A new opportunity is available for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Corrections through VyTalent Solutions. This 13-week contract is suited for LPNs interested in working within a corrections environment while continuing to build valuable clinical experience.

This assignment offers $20.59 to $21.62 per hour and follows a 10-hour daytime schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Both local professionals and travelers are welcome. Reach out to your recruiter for specific qualifications and assignment requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a correctional facility setting, including medication administration, wound care, and vital signs monitoring.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with facility protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety and quality care for inmates.
• Observe and report changes in inmate health status, escalating issues as needed.
• Adhere to all safety, security, and confidentiality guidelines according to correctional facility regulations.
