Job Title: Medical-Surgical | RN – Registered Nurse
Location: Morgantown, WV
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 2079.88 – 2183.87
Schedule: 19:00 – 07:30
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: BLS and NIHSS are required, ACLS is preferred. NIHSS needs to be in hand at time of submission. Recent Epic experience is required. Strong neuro experience and proficiency with G-tubes are necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for neuro patients in a hospital setting.
• Monitor and document patient status using tele and other tools, verifying monitor tech’s strip readings in Epic.
• Manage patient treatments including titratable medications and set-rate drips under physician orders.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, including RTs, charge nurses, and physicians, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to unit-specific protocols and participate in holiday and weekend rotations, including floating to different units as needed.
