Requirements: Required licenses: Maryland or compact RN license; Required certifications: ACLS and BLS; Experience: 2 years of RN experience, Med-Surg/Telemetry experience, telemetry interpretation, remote telemetry monitoring, Rapid Response/Code Team, pre/post cardiac catheterization, blood product administration, central line, peripheral line, and PICC line management, Heparin protocol, feeding tube management, PCA, seizure disorder and substance-withdrawal, surgical drain, tracheostomy, wound/wound vac.**

Responsibilities:

• Provide Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the 5 West GIGU unit at Sinai Hospital.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry data, including dysrhythmia management.
• Administer blood products, perform central and peripheral line management, and handle invasive procedures.
• Collaborate with rapid response and code teams to manage emergency situations.
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner charting system and adhere to unit protocols.
