Job Details:
Job Title: Cardio Thoracic ICU Registered Nurse
Location: Chesapeake, VA
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 2192.20 – 2301.81
Schedule: 19:00 – 07:30
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: 2 years experience in an CVICU/CTICU; travel experience preferred Active Virginia or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission; no exceptions Must be proficient in Epic; no exceptions
Responsibilities:

Provide care for step down and CVICU/CTICU patients using the universal bed model
Manage arterial lines, blood products, and central lines
Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias, including management of arrhythmias and multi-system organ failure
Care for post-cardiac surgery patients, including those with intra-aortic balloon pumps and Impella devices
Administer and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, and manage ventilated patients with advanced respiratory support
