Job Details:

• Job Title: RN: Corrections
• Location: Goochland, Virginia
• Setting: State Prison
• Pay Range: $1736.48 – $1823.30 weekly
• Schedule: Nights, 36-hours per week, Every other weekend, Holidays as needed
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly
• Requirements: 3-5 years of experience as a RN, Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1-3 years of experience in the correctional setting, Valid Registered Nurse license, Be willing to obtain Virginia licensure

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and deliver acute and chronic care services within the scope of a Registered Nurse (RN) in a correctional setting.
• Manage medication administration, triage, and emergency response procedures in alignment with correctional healthcare standards.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to accurately document patient care, treatment plans, and follow-up in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a secure, structured environment–providing care that truly matters.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and inmates while ensuring quality patient care.
