In this high-stakes role, the nurse continuously monitors vital physiological parameters, manages advanced life-support systems, administers critical interventions, and oversees complex medication protocols.

As a vital member of the critical care team, the ICU | RN – Registered Nurse collaborates closely with intensivists, hospitalists, therapists, and nursing colleagues to implement comprehensive care plans. The role demands keen clinical judgment, rapid response capabilities, and expertise in operating specialized medical technologies to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Pay Range: 2194.96 - 2304.71
• Schedule: 19:00 - 07:30 (D/N, Rotating)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Candidate Type: Traveler
• Requirements: Certs BLS, ACLS, NIHSS are Required; PALS, & TNCC is Preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to ICU patients, supporting critical illness management.
• Respond to Rapid Responses and codes, collaborating with the Charge Nurse and interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with patient monitoring using Philips Cardiac Monitors and IV pumps, including moderate conscious sedation.
• Support a 24/7 ICU nursing team, including night shift coverage and weekend rotations.
• Follow hospital protocols and adhere to the EPIC EMR system for documentation and patient data management.
