Job Overview

A Cath Lab Technologist assists physicians during complex cardiovascular procedures, playing a critical role in diagnosing and treating heart conditions. In this role, you will prepare patients for catheterization, monitor hemodynamic vitals, and operate sophisticated imaging equipment to ensure precise diagnostic imagery. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary cardiac team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care during invasive cardiovascular treatments.

Beyond equipment operation and patient prep, a Cath Lab Technologist maintains a sterile environment, handles specialized surgical tools, and responds efficiently during emergency interventions such as angioplasty or stent placements.

• Requirements: BLS & ACLS, WV License/ARRT - Rad Techs due to WV requirements with Xray Equipment

Responsibilities:

• Perform as part of a 3-man Cath Lab Team, including 2 RNs and 1 Tech
• Assist with all common adult cardiac cases such as peripheral, catheterization, PCI, and devices
• Operate and monitor imaging equipment such as XperCharge and EPIC system
• Respond promptly to call requirements, including response within 15 days per month
• Maintain adherence to safety protocols, including scrub color and equipment management
