\nCandidate Type:<\/strong> Traveler
\nRequirements:<\/strong>
\nAbility to care for up to 1-3 ICU patients and have comfort in managing patients on the ventilator. Bedside shift report will occur on every patient with each transfer of care. Proficient in reading telemetry strips. Advanced skills needed: CRRT, Advanced Hemodynamics, Phlebotomy. Nurses administer breathing treatments outside of the ICU (Inhalers and nebulizers). Procedures performed on unit include post op day 0 CABG, impellas, balloon pumps, Swan Ganz, neuro procedures for aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage, experience with EVDs, bolts, (Codman) and Artic Sun with induced hypothermia. Must have: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale.<\/p>\n
