Job Title: Critical Care Float Registered Nurse
Location: Newport News, VA
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 2097.88 – 2202.77
Schedule: 19:00 – 07:00 (Night, D/N, Rotating)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: 2 years experience required
Responsibilities:
- Provide critical care nursing in ICU units including SICU, MICU, CCU, and OICU.
- Care for patients with traumatic injuries, surgical complications, neurological conditions, and post-cardiac procedures.
- Monitor critically ill patients with exacerbated medical comorbidities and oncology patients requiring intensive care.
- Administer treatments for patients with DKA, alcohol withdrawal, and other critical conditions.
- Work flexible scheduling including every other weekend and possible holiday shifts.
