Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Location: Parkersburg, WV
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 2127.04 – 2233.39
Schedule: 06:45 am – 07:15 pm (Day shift); 06:45 pm – 07:15 am (Night shift)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: Must have a point of care license to analyze blood gases. Experience drawing and analyzing blood gases, responding to rapid responses, codes, trauma, high flow, BiPAP, and ventilators. No requirement to intubate independently.
Responsibilities:
- Draw and analyze blood gases using blood gas machines.
- Respond to rapid responses, codes, trauma, high flow, BiPAP, and ventilator needs.
- Provide care across inpatient nursing units, PACU, Stress Lab, and ER.
- Support patient care for adults, pediatrics, and neonates.
- Work as part of a team with no solo RT coverage expected in the hospital.
