Schedule: 07:00 – 19:30
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: RN license (Maryland or compact RN license required upon submission); ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications; Prophecy Relias Advanced Emergency Department assessment; 4hrs annual stroke CEs; 3 years of Emergency Department experience, or 2 years of Level I or Level II trauma; First-timers accepted with at least 3 years of ED experience; Patient ratio experience of 1:4-6; Support for Behavioral Health units with 1:6 ratio; Excellent communication skills; Experience with Cerner, FirstNet, Launch charting systems.
Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency care in a 54-bed Emergency Department treating neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Support behavioral health units and rapid evaluation units within scope.
• Collaborate with security team to maintain a safe environment for Behavioral Health patients.
• Support approximately 120 patient visits daily with patient ratios of 1:4-6.
• Maintain all certifications and adhere to hospital protocols, including holiday coverage and weekend shifts.
