Job Title: NICU Registered Nurse

Pay Range: 1802.25 – 1892.36
Schedule: 07:00 – 19:00
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment
BLS, NRP, & STABLE required
NICU II experience required
CPAP experience required
2 years of experience required
Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
Valid Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and S.T.A.B.L.E. certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized neonatal care in a Level II nursery, including monitoring and maintaining cardiopulmonary, neurologic, metabolic, and thermal functions.
• Assist with procedures such as lumbar puncture and endotracheal resuscitation for newborns 32 weeks or greater.
• Manage respiratory support systems including High Flow O2, CPAP, Bubble CPAP, and Mechanical Ventilation.
• Administer IV antibiotics, manage central lines, and perform lab draws.
• Stabilize pre-term and full-term infants, including those less than 32 weeks, and prepare them for transport to a Level III facility.
