Job Title: Medical-Surgical | RN – Registered Nurse
Location: Oakland, MD
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 2088.52 – 2192.95
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 06:45 – 07:15, extra shifts may be available, manager will make schedule
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: BLS required, NIHSS required for all RNs and LPNS, ACLS and PALS recommended but not required
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for medical-surgical patients.
- Manage a variety of patient diagnoses including CP, CHF, Pneumonia, Abd pain, pancreatitis, ortho, detox, post-op surgery, and pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with team members during patient assessments, treatments, and discharge planning.
- Float to assist other units as needed, supporting hospital staffing needs.
- Adhere to unit-specific protocols, including medication administration, telemetry monitoring, and documentation.
