Job Title: Medical-Surgical | RN – Registered Nurse
Location: Parkersburg, WV
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 2079.88 – 2183.87
Schedule: 12 Hour Shifts: 07:00 – 19:30; 19:00 – 07:30
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: BLS certification; 1 day of EPIC orientation, 1 day of orientation on the floor with a preceptor, then on their own; experience or strong knowledge in MedSurg, Infectious Disease, Isolation precautions, and related patient care.
Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to individuals with infectious diseases including COVID, MRSA, C-Diff, and others.
• Administer and titrate IV medications such as Heparin and antibiotics.
• Monitor patients via remote telehealth systems and read monitor strips.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and provide coverage during assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ensure adherence to infection control practices and isolation protocols.
