Job Title: NICU Registered Nurse
Location: Charlottesville, VA

Pay Range: 2031.41 – 2132.98
Schedule: 07:00 – 19:00
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: BLS required and must have NRP in-hand at time of submission; Dr Browns Infant Driven Feeding Cert required but can submit with that pending; can submit with VA license pending; shift includes 4×12-hour days; must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays; must work all scheduled weekends; unable to approve time off around Christmas; has a max of 40 hours for time off; unable to approve time off the first two weeks of assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) patients.
- Monitor and assess infant patient conditions, utilizing clinical review standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies.
- Support families through education and emotional assistance during neonatal intensive care.
