Job Title: CVOR Tech Surgical Services
Location: Silver Spring, MD
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 2089.24 – 2193.70
Schedule: 05:30 – 16:00
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: NBSTSA or TS-C certification; BLS; 1 year of scrub experience; on-call required; operating room experience with adults, adolescents, geriatrics; neuro and general surgery experience preferred; no nicotine use; 12 hours of experience in ORs required; willing to work Christmas week and weekend requirements; first-time travelers not accepted; open to block schedules; locals accepted; no pending state license required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in cardiovascular surgeries within the operating room environment.
- Maintain sterile technique and assist with surgical procedures.
- Adhere to hospital policies including strict tobacco-free testing.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities and weekend shifts.
- Support operating room teams during adult, adolescent, and geriatric cases.
