Job Title: NICU Registered Nurse
Location: Charlottesville, VA

Pay Range: 2009.92 – 2110.42
Schedule: 07:00 – 19:00 (Day, 3×12-Hour)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: BLS required and must have NRP in-hand at time of submission; Dr Browns Infant Driven Feeding Cert Required but can submit with that pending, has a cost of $200; must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays; cannot approve time off around Christmas; Shift Info: Day 3×12-Hour (07:00 – 19:00)
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal intensive care patients in a hospital setting.
- Monitor and assess critically ill infants and collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physicians’ orders.
- Document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of neonatal units for patient admissions and discharges.
