Job Title: General | Physical Therapist
Location: Marion, OH
Setting: Home Health
Pay Range: 2632.80 – 2764.44

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: Current State License as a Physical Therapist; Proof of current CPR certification; Current driver’s license. Must have reliable transportation and insurance; 1-2 years experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting; Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association approved program.
Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical assessment to identify patient needs and appropriateness of care.
- Document, prepare/review, and complete a Plan of Care (POC), progress notes, phone orders, and other clinical records.
- Plan and provide treatment for neuromuscular, neurological, and orthopedic disorders based on medical referral and assessments.
- Assist/instruct patients and families in transfer techniques and use of equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, canes, braces, prosthetic devices, and appliances.
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic procedures tailored to age, condition, culture, and learning readiness.
