Job Details:
Job Title: PCU Registered Nurse
Location: Charleston, WV
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 1811.47 – 1902.04
Schedule: 19:00 – 07:00
Contract Length: Discuss with recruiter.
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: West Virginia/Compact RN License required – can submit with pending RN license. 2 Years of RN Experience Required; 1 Year in-specialty Experience required. BLS, ACLS, Fit Test, CPI (Travelers can get CPI done with Qualivis), TNCC preferred. Open to accommodating blocked schedule requests. Holliday RTO requests limited to no more than 1 of the 3 major holidays.
Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to multi-system-injured trauma patients and surgical patients on a specialized trauma step-down unit.
Manage patient care involving IV starts, vents, telemetry, and conscious sedation.
Float within scope to meet facility needs, including floor beds and possibly pediatric patients.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Adhere to protocols for infection control, patient safety, and documentation standards.
