Job Details:
- Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Psych
- Location: Savannah, GA
- Setting: Psych
- Pay Range: $1,237.43 – $1,299.30 weekly gross
- Schedule: 12-hour days, 36 hours per week, 7a-7:30p – every other weekend, holidays as needed
- Contract Length: 16 weeks

Responsibilities:
- Provides basic care and treatments, such as dressing wounds, treating bedsores, giving enemas, douches, alcohol rubs, and massages, or performing catheterizations.
- Answers individuals’ calls and determines how to assist them.
- Observes individuals, charting and reporting changes in individuals’ conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and taking any necessary action.
- Measures and records individuals’ vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration.
- Administers prescribed medications or starts intravenous fluids, and notes times and amounts on individuals’ charts.
- Monitor, document, and escalate changes in patient condition, including mental status, side effects, and pain, ensuring patient safety and proper communication with the healthcare team.
