Job Title: CVICU Registered Nurse
Location: Largo, MD
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 2423.31 – 2544.48
Schedule: 19:30 – 08:00
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: RN MD state license, ACLS, BLS required
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized care to CVICU patients, including those recovering from cardiac surgery and with vascular, thoracic, or cardiac diagnoses.
- Monitor patients with conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, AFIB w RVR, and cardiogenic shock.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Manage patient needs during night shifts, including floating within the specialty, sister units, and lower acuity as needed.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled.
