Job Details:

Job Title: BACKFILL TRAVEL – RN – LABOR DELIVERY – COST CENTER 660 – 7:00PM – 7:00AM

Location: Dickson, TN

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 1673.13 – 1756.79

Schedule: 19:00 – 07:00

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: Must have: Labor and delivery experience including the ability to labor and recover the mother as well as receive and transition the newborn including assessment. Experience with shoulder dystocia, PP hemorrhage, and other potential OB emergencies preferred. Advanced skills needed: Fetal monitoring education, experience with inductions (Pitocin, cervidil). Certifications Required: BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring training.

Responsibilities:

Provide labor and delivery nursing care in a hospital setting, managing obstetric patient needs during active labor and post-partum recovery.
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vitals, respond to emergencies such as shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage.
Assist with procedures including C-sections, circumcisions, intra-uterine monitoring, vacuum or forceps-assisted deliveries.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols.
Collaborate with a highly experienced team of RNs and staff to deliver quality patient care.
