Job Title: Backfill – Travel – RN – CVICU (650) Trident Regional MC/ 7:00PM – 7:00AM
Location: North Charleston, SC
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 1817.69 – 1908.57
Schedule: 19:00 – 07:00
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: Ability to care for up to 1-3 ICU patients and have comfort in managing patients on the ventilator. Bedside shift report will occur on every patient with each transfer of care. Proficient in reading telemetry strips. Prior CVICU Experience. CRRT, Advanced Hemodynamics, Phlebotomy skills. Experience with head and neck flap procedures preferred. BLS, ACLS, NIH stroke scale certifications required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for ICU patients, including ventilator management and telemetry monitoring.
- Perform bedside shift reports and patient handoffs seamlessly.
- Administer respiratory treatments such as inhalers and nebulizers.
- Conduct procedures like post-op CABG, Impellas, balloon pumps, Swan Ganz, and EVDs.
- Assist with complex neuro and cardiovascular procedures, including induced hypothermia protocols.
