Preferred: School-based experience preferred.

Requirements: Valid West Virginia Teaching Certification with Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement required.
Responsibilities

Provide direct and consultative instructional services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Adapt curriculum, teaching materials, and communication strategies to ensure accessibility across general and special education environments.

Support the use and troubleshooting of assistive listening devices, hearing aids, and FM systems as needed.

Collaborate with classroom teachers, speech-language pathologists, parents, and educational teams to support language and academic development.

Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to specialized goal development, and maintain compliant progress documentation.
