Job Title: Autonomous Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Corrections – Day Shift
Location: Troy, VA
Setting: Prison
Pay Range: 3407.20 – 3577.56
Schedule: 08:00 – 16:30, Monday-Friday, No weekends or holidays
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Local or travel candidates
Requirements: Must be an autonomous NP (Can practice without MD supervision) and have active DEA. Must have primary care or corrections NP experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services in a correctional facility setting.
- Practice autonomously, managing patient care independently.
- Administer and manage medications as authorized with active DEA.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain documentation and compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
