Job Details:
Job Title: Backkfill-Travel -First Assistant (801)-6:00AM-3:00 PM/13 weeks
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 1824.49 – 1915.71
Schedule: 06:00 – 15:00
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: CSFA, CFA, or SA-C certification; at least 2 years of independent Endoscopic Vein Harvest utilizing either Terumo or Maquet 6 Pro; at least 2 years of Open Heart First Assist experience
Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons with open heart procedures, valve repairs, and replacements
- Perform endoscopic vein harvesting using approved techniques and equipment
- Support the surgical team during cardiac operations and thoracic procedures
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies and unit-specific guidelines
- Participate in on-call rotations including weekends and third-weekday shifts
