Job Details:
Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Corrections – Night Shift
Location: Chesapeake, VA
Setting: Corrections
Pay Range: Up to $1400 weekly
Schedule: 12-hour nights, 36-hours per week, every other weekend, holidays as needed
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly
Requirements: Minimum 2 years of LPN experience. Corrections experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care and assist with medical assessments for inmates in a correctional facility.
- Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed orders while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Monitor patients’ condition and report significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment adhering to facility protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality healthcare delivery within the correctional setting.
