Job Title: MS/Tele Registered Nurse
Location: Baltimore, MD
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 1863.84 – 1957.03
Schedule: 07:00 – 19:30
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: RN license in Maryland or a compact state; 2 years of RN experience; Med-Surg/Telemetry experience; ACLS and BLS certifications; Strong telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation/management experience; On-unit and remote telemetry monitoring experience; Rapid Response/Code Team experience; Pre/post cardiac catheterization experience; Blood product administration, central line, peripheral line and PICC line management; Heparin protocol and non-titratable cardiac drip experience; Feeding tube management, PCA, seizure disorder and substance-withdrawal experience; Surgical drain, tracheostomy and wound/wound vac experience; Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide bedside care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med-Surg/Telemetry setting.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias.
- Administer blood products, manage lines, and support pre/post cardiac procedures.
- Collaborate with rapid response team and participate in emergency protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner charting system.
