Job Title: MS/Tele Registered Nurse
Location: Baltimore, MD
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 1863.84 – 1957.03
Schedule: 19:00 – 07:30
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: RN license in Maryland or a compact state; 2 years of RN experience, Med-Surg/Telemetry experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, strong telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation/management experience, on-unit and remote telemetry monitoring experience, Rapid Response/Code Team, pre/post cardiac catheterization, blood product administration, central line, peripheral line, and PICC line management, Heparin protocol and non-titratable cardiac drip, feeding tube management, PCA, seizure disorder, substance-withdrawal experience, surgical drain, tracheostomy, wound/wound vac experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret dysrhythmias utilizing telemetry systems.
- Administer medications, including blood products and cardiac drips, in accordance with protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for rapid response and code events.
- Manage pre/post cardiac catheterization procedures and other specialized interventions.
