Job Title: PICU | RRT – Registered Respiratory Therapist
Location: Savannah, GA

Pay Range: 1667.56 – 1750.94
Schedule: 19:00 – 07:00
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: Must have : 1+ year Neonatal or PICU Critical Care experience
Advanced skills needed:
Procedures performed on unit: Must be able to independently admit and manage vented patients in Peds ICU using Servo -U ventilator. Also, setup and manage heliox therapy though invasive and non-invasive measures. Familiar with non-invasive ventilation including use of biPAP and CPAP. Neonatal skills to include Bubble CPAP, and, use of nitric oxide, and high frequency ventilation.
Certifications Required: PALS
Responsibilities:

• Manage ventilated patients in the Neonatal Pediatric ICU, including setup and management of various ventilation modes.
• Administer heliox therapy and nitric oxide treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient status using advanced equipment such as Servo U ventilator, F&P Bubble CPAP, HFOV, HFJV, and Vaportherm.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in Epic system.
