A Surgical Technologist - Operating Room works closely with surgeons, nurses, and other operating room professionals to provide essential procedural support. The position involves setting up sterile fields, preparing surgical instruments and equipment, assisting throughout operations, monitoring the availability of supplies, completing accurate counts, and maintaining a clean and organized surgical environment.

Job Details:

A Surgical Technologist - Operating Room works alongside surgeons, nurses, and other surgical professionals to help ensure procedures are performed safely and efficiently. The position focuses on preparing sterile instruments and supplies, maintaining the sterile field, assisting with surgical equipment, anticipating procedural needs, documenting required counts, and supporting operating room turnover.

The role is offered as a 13-week Hospital contract with a pay range of $1,448.49 - $1,520.91 and 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The opportunity is open to both local and traveler candidates. Candidates are encouraged to connect with their recruiter for specific role requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized care to patients in the operating room setting.
• Assist surgeons and medical staff with surgical procedures.
• Prepare the operating room with sterile equipment and supplies.
• Monitor patient conditions during surgery and in recovery.
