The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides specialized therapy to patients with communication and swallowing challenges resulting from medical conditions, developmental needs, or injury. Responsibilities may include performing evaluations, creating treatment goals, delivering therapeutic exercises and techniques, documenting outcomes, and collaborating with families and other healthcare professionals.

Job Details:

A Speech Language Pathologist - Schools works with students who require support developing or improving communication and related functional skills. The SLP evaluates individual needs, creates appropriate treatment strategies, provides speech and language therapy, monitors outcomes, and partners with school professionals and families to help students achieve their educational and communication goals.

The role offers flexible full-time or part-time opportunities throughout the 2026 - 2027 school year, with a pay range of $51.12 - $53.68. The position is open to local and traveler candidates. Applicants should have a valid Speech Language Pathologist license or be willing to obtain state-specific licensure as required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide essential support and specialized care to students in educational settings.
• Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to ensure students receive services tailored to their individual needs.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for students with communication disorders.
• Support interdisciplinary team efforts to meet student goals and ensure IEP compliance.
• Monitor student progress and modify interventions as needed to support academic and social communication development.
