Job Overview

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with communication, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. In an educational setting, you will work closely with students to enhance their ability to communicate effectively, ensuring they can fully engage in academic and social environments.

You will design and implement individualized treatment plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet each student's unique learning needs. Additionally, you will collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary school staff to track student development, conduct comprehensive evaluations, and provide targeted therapeutic interventions across on-site or teletherapy service models.

• Schedule: Full-Time (35 hours/week)

• Contract Length: 2026-2027 School Year

• Candidate Type: Local, traveler, or remote friendly

• Preferred: School-based experience preferred. New grads (CFYs) welcome to apply!

• Requirements: Valid West Virginia SLP license

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.

• Develop, implement, and manage individualized education programs (IEPs) and communication goals.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support overall student communication success.

• Adapt service delivery effectively across either on-site or teletherapy formats.

• Conduct evaluations and track student progress with accurate, compliant documentation.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team and IEP meetings.
