Job Overview

A Cath Lab | RN – Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and related interventional procedures. Operating in a high-acuity environment, the nurse prepares patients for diagnostic testing, continuously monitors hemodynamics and vital signs, and assists cardiologists throughout complex cardiovascular interventions.

Beyond procedural support, the Cath Lab RN manages moderate sedation, delivers immediate post-procedure care, and responds to acute patient needs during emergency or on-call situations. This critical role requires swift decision-making, clinical expertise, and strong interprofessional communication to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Job Title: Cath Lab | RN - Registered Nurse

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 2506.68 - 2632.01

Schedule: 07:00 - 17:30

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: RN License; 2 years RN Cardiac ICU experience; Cath and/or EP lab experience; moderate sedation experience; BLS and ACLS

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in the Cath Lab environment, supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Assist with moderate sedation and post-procedure monitoring.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
• Support the team during on-call shifts, including responding within 30 minutes as required.
