Registered Nurse (RN) – Apheresis

Job Details:

• Job Title: RN, Apheresis/Blood Services
• Location: Bethesda, MD
• Setting: Acute Care Hospital - Apheresis
• Pay Range: $2743.40 - $2880.57 weekly gross
• Schedule: Mon - Fri, 7a-5:30p, 40 hours per week / On call - weekend & holidays, minimum of one full weekend a month
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly
• Requirements: 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Qualified applicants MUST have at least 2 years of strong current hospital experience in Apheresis. Valid Registered Nurse license any state.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing apheresis procedures in an acute care hospital setting.
• Monitor patients throughout the procedures, ensuring safety and early detection of complications.
• Administer blood products and transfusions as needed, following established protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient responses.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
