You will monitor patient activities, maintain a safe and supportive environment, assist with personal care needs, communicate relevant observations, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support quality patient care.

Job Details:

We are currently looking for a Health Aide - Psych to join a psychiatric hospital team for a 13-week contract assignment. The position provides a pay range of $15.00 to $18.00 per hour and follows a night schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

The assignment is local and traveler friendly, providing an opportunity for qualified healthcare professionals seeking a short-term behavioral health role. Candidates should contact their recruiter to learn more about role-specific qualifications and requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide basic patient care under direct supervision, assisting in the development of daily living skills.
• Take vital signs as needed.
• Respond promptly to patient calls for assistance.
• Maintain standards of patient care aligned with Joint Commission, CMS, and Department policies, including diet and physical activity.
• Utilize approved techniques to prevent and safely manage aggressive behaviors.
• Support patients' safety, wellness, and rehabilitation progress.
